Stones

Granite

Granite is the most used natural countertop material. Every slab is unique to itself, when purchased from the same bundle you will have quite similar looks but each and every slab has unreplicable look. For this reason, many customers are drawn to natural stones. No two kitchen can ever be exactly the same. Mostly being on earth tones, you will see a lot of specks and tones.

Quartz

Man-made material quartz has been getting a lot of popularity due to many color and pattern variation options. Since its not porous this material doesn’t require any upkeep or special care, making it perfect for carefree elegance.

Marble

Marble has a smooth, soft appearance with scattered veining patterns ranging from subtle and delicate to bold and dramatic. While white is the predominant color in many varieties of marble, it comes in a variety of other hues as well.

Quartzite

It is a natural stone and mined the same way as granite and other natural stones are. Quartzite is a hard, non-foliated metamorphic rock which was originally pure quartz sandstone. Pure quartzite is usually white to grey, though quartzites often occur in various shades of pink and red due to varying amounts of iron oxide. Other colors, such as yellow, green, blue and orange, are due to other minerals.

Porcelain

Besides being easy to keep clean, porcelain is also non-porous and stain resistant. That’s music to a countertop owner’s ears because it means no sealing is required. Quality porcelain used to make countertops is scratchproof, along with being heatproof and highly durable
